good evening and welcome Mister Jamison's vision for the 2019 pop concert is the first year concert all the songs in tonight's program were written published or popularized during the birth years of the current 6th 7th and 8th grade students 2004 2007 this evening we celebrate our students and their hard work and outstanding achievement under the direction of Mister Jameson sincere appreciation must be acknowledged to the support of our devoted accompanist Connie Washburn who is who has championed the efforts of our students all year gratitude goes to our substitute teacher Sergio Montes students for the past several weeks under the guidance of San Marino High School choir teacher Tammy alderman thank you Miss alderman for helping our students to perform this concert the way Mister Jameson envisioned it thanks also to our fabulous band tonight and special say to Quoc Huong master of all light and sound all of this is made possible by you parents and loved ones thank you for your unwavering support and without further ado the HMS choir pop concert strangers kissing girls the whole thing give me a zombie games that you can play so unfortunately I didn't have a chance to get soloist names into the program before I went to print so Tara you saw me was The Soloist on that last piece and I'm home now so is as we go along and I just want to thank you all for being here tonight / away with the pictures singalong Stand Up and Dance whatever it whatever hit you I think Emmy is next and I'm going to give her my check I'll follow him to the song Just Dance class so time waiting for what's a sadist how to make school hazard she told me so I Thomas Edison civil war books Houston half race Trump come to Calgary and the sole of your shoes facility Cosmo to the top we're going to do a couple of Green Day songs for you so Louis on this are Henry McBride and Luke open I walk this empty Street I'm the only one I want to rolly rolly only one that I have ever known don't know where it goes but it's home to me and I Walk Alone handshake kids shoes so I first found out the concert females like that's really cool and then I saw all the music and I was like wait a minute leave it to Derrick Jamison to find a loophole to figure out how to put a Beatles song concert theme from the mid-2000s but the movie Across the Universe came out during that time and so there is your loophole so the next piece is Let It Be by John Lennon and Paul McCartney when I find myself in times of trouble mother speaking Let It Be speaking Let It Be and I went feature Jude Sanchez and Benjamin sing I did Sitting Bull City in a silly Place starts in my toes and I crinkle my nose or Everett Staples naked girl rain is falling on my window pane hi George. In my toes and I crinkle my nose where it goes I always know you make me smile please stay for awhile now second timer and what am I gonna stay when you make me feel I just talked to my toes and I crinkle my nose make me smile please stay for awhile just take your time wherever you go and funny my toes makes me crinkle my nose I always know Vapor World our next two pieces are from The Amazing Mirror Wicked so this is a story of true friendship that starts out a little tense so are soloist on this first one or Kate Wong and Meghan show up and then Lindsey seguimos I will take it over after that Siri stock Moms and Pops my dear father what is Cold War a cheerleader rushing you really don't have to do this Georgia I don't know pictures don't make me laugh beautiful well you're welcome your so I personally need to give a huge thank you to Sergio Montes for stepping and he's my sub at the high school and we've known each other for several years and so when when we we needed to help we were both and so he is actually spent a little bit more time with the kids and I've been able to and I didn't feel it was right or Fair any of those things to not give him at least one of the songs on the concert so mr. Montez is going to be conducting keep holding on with ketotic and the a little I would teach them I said I would remember to Elisa Lam and Lowell Ave a TCN the Gathering place to live no I want cuz you know we'll make it through make it through so do you know where do you I mean does he know I'll make it through American Girl I wish you were here Lara prison yard Frozen Olaf when does when troubles come and my whole body do you come with me who won the Super Bowl tonight do you so perfectly two boys are my timer two more than I can be two boys to hesitate Georgia 1st July 17th Ninja Turtles but it's alright they seem to change don't you think it's time to head shut up and read it to me I hope you're gonna find yourself somewhere how to play pitty-pat Babe Ruth I would love to thank you all for coming out here tonight and supporting these kids cuz at the end of the day this is what it is all about as making music together I rarely get to work with this age group and it's such a beautiful reminder to me of where they all came from and then I also understand some of some of the things that the older kids do and when they meet their siblings it's amazing so I see you all come and it's been just a blessing to work with them and such a different incredible amazing energy level and how they all made the choice to band together and as an adult I have a hard time sitting perfectly still through a con especially for the second night when you've already are the things and I'm just so impressed with how such young people can rise such two amazing levels of professionalism so well done mom and dad you're doing something right congratulations these kids are amazing so thank you once again we are going to oh one more thing the next piece was choreographed by Miss Joy and one more round for the hardest working people in the cuz they're the only ones that didn't get to leave their spots or sit down thank you so much for the bad all five of them appreciated how do we go hey Ya so we want to give a special thanks to people who made the show possible so first clock thank you for doing all the lights sound in text we couldn't have done this without you a big thank you to miss Joy from Corrigan City AR concert closer for Tonight Show thank you Miss A and thank you for taking time out of your very busy schedules to help us bring this last-minute pop concert together thank you to Connie for playing with us tonight we love you and appreciate you and fire would not be the same without you and last but certainly not least these are for our director of this is very famous in who cannot be here tonight but you know these choir as they work so hard and they would never be what they are without him so I know that these students will not stop fighting until he's able to make a smooth return.
