Homework:
- Hatchet green packet p. 14-16 (Sentences/Fragments) is due tomorrow. (Note: The entire Hatchet packet should be complete and ready to turn in on Wednesday before the test.)
- The Hatchet Unit Test is scheduled for this Wednesday. It will cover the excerpt in the Testing Our Limits workbook on p. 26-29 and the related skills we have been covering. Refer to the Test Review Guidelines (pink handout) for reminders about how to review (also posted below).
- IXL II.4 (Possessive Pronouns), II.5 and II.6 (Reflexive Pronouns) - due Thursday 2/5 (The Grammar Quiz that covers IXL HH.1 - HH.5 and II.1 - II.5 will also be on Thursday.)
- Continue to read your Realistic Fiction Book Report book and work on the Stop & Jot assignment. The due date to complete the reading and Stop & Jot is February 11. (Note: The Khan Academy "Elements of a Story" video posted below is helpful review as you work on analyzing the elements of the plot in your novel.) Remember to bring your book to class this Thursday for a check-in.
