Memoir My experience with Catalina was quite interesting, It started off very early and it was not an amazing experience to begin with. We got to the place where we thought we were supposed to get picked up, but apparently we were in the wrong place. We sat near that dock for what seemed like forever when finally our boat cruised over to the dock where we were waiting. The boat ride was long but very fun because i was with my friends. We got there and my first impression was that it was going to be horrible and that it was a hippy camp. They talked to us for a while then sent us off to go get changed so we could go for our first swim. I took 10 steps into the water and guess what? I got stung by a stingray. After that i sat on the beach and accumulated two buckets of blood. That was truly a fiasco! Although i had that traumatizing experience the rest of Catalina was super fun! I would encourage you to go.
