Graduation

Memoir Two nights ago was 8th grade graduation. It's summer now and I'm so excited but so sad at the same time. Five of my very close friends are leaving, but many more are staying. The Graduation dance was so much fun! It was at the San Gabriel Country club this year instead of the Women's club which is being used as the current library. Thank God for that! The club was so nice-- it had everything from caricature drawings to virgin blended drinks. But I wanted to make the most of my night so my friends and I danced the entire time. the last song was so depressing and they played this 5 minute song at least twice, which made everyone cry even more. We were all slow dancing with our friends and at the same time sobbing into their shoulders. But it was all worth it, because that was definitely the best night of my life!
