Wow! I had a very exciting time at Wonder Valley in the 6th Grade, last year. My first reaction to the idea of 5 days away from my brother, was, "WOO HOO! Yay! Freedom from annoyance!" But, staying away from my parents, well, I thought it would be a chance to start being independant...just for a few days. There at Wonder Valley we did a lot of fun and exhilarating activities, such as kyacking, hiking, seeing endangered animals, and especially going on a hike up a rocky trail, where many lives had been lost to fierce storms of lightning. I had a great time with my friends! My counselor, JJ was extremely energetic. Sometimes at night, when our cabin was SUPPOSED to be sleeping...we were laughing our lungs out. Well, overall, Wonder Valley was an experience that will stay in my mind forever.
