Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to HMS! What a great start we've had! Although students were attentive listeners during our Google Meets, they may feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information given to them this week. Please reassure your child that teachers will review procedures and expectations over the next few weeks. Encourage them to ask questions and seek help when needed. My goal is for students to feel confident and comfortable in their new distance learning environment. I am already impressed with this group of 6th graders, and I know it will be a rewarding, positive, and successful year for all!
I will do a posting like this every day with information about homework and upcoming dates. If you are ever absent, please check this page to see what you have missed. Also, please remember to subscribe to this page so that you can receive an evening email with the daily post. Thank you, and as always, please email me if you have any questions ([email protected]).
