1.  Keep gathering school supplies. The Supplies List is also posted below for your convenience. Please note: the loose-leaf paper needs to be 8.5" x 11" (not 8" x 10.5"). This is so papers don't fall out of paper clipped stacks and get lost (trust me, I've learned with experience)! Please try to have supplies by Monday, August 17th. Thank you so much to those who donated Kleenex and wipes! It is very much appreciated!

Happy First Day of School! 🦊

Welcome to HMS!  What a great start we've had! Although you were an attentive listener, you may feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information given to you today and throughout the next few weeks. Don't worry! Teachers will review procedures multiple times over the coming weeks to ensure clarity and understanding. I encourage you to ask questions and seek help when needed. My goal is for you to feel safe and comfortable in our classroom. I am confident this will be a rewarding, productive, and successful year for all!

Today, we reviewed school supplies and what materials you will need for class each day. Please try to have materials in hand by next week, if possible.

* Please remember that rolling backpacks are not permitted on campus, unless prior authorization has been obtained from administration.

HOMEWORK
1.  Pack your white binder, pencil/pencil bag, and Binder Reminder in your backpack tonight, so you have everything tomorrow!
2.  Begin gathering school supplies. Today, you received a list of supplies (gold handout) needed in our class. The list was also emailed to you and your parents earlier this week. It is also posted below for your convenience. Please note: the loose-leaf paper needs to be 8.5" x 11" (not 8" x 10.5"). This is so papers don't fall out of paper clipped stacks and get lost (trust me, I've learned with experience)! Please try to have supplies by Monday, August 17th
