Welcome Back, Fox Families!

The Huntington Middle School PTA is excited to kick off the 2025–2026 school year! I’m honored to serve as this year’s PTA President and to work alongside a passionate and dedicated board of volunteers. We are so excited to welcome students back for what promises to be another memorable year!

We’re thrilled to have our outstanding leadership team returning—Principal Mary Hazlett and Vice Principal Michelle Cota. Now entering their third year together, they bring a perfect blend of experience, structure, and compassion. Our school is in excellent hands, and the HMS community is grateful for the opportunity to support their vision.

Huntington Middle School is truly a special place. The incredible teachers and staff create a welcoming and enriching environment, and our family has had wonderful experiences here. My oldest daughter is in 8th grade this year, and I look forward to many more years at HMS as my three younger children will be students in the years ahead.

The PTA plays an essential role at HMS. We raise funds to support enrichment programs that help our students grow into well-rounded individuals. We also plan and host many of the fun events our school community enjoys throughout the year—events made possible by the time and energy of our amazing volunteers.

Whether you're a returning family or new to the school, we invite you to join the PTA. It’s a great way to get involved, meet fellow parents, and stay connected with your child’s school experience. Most importantly, it helps us continue building the vibrant, supportive community that makes HMS such a fantastic place.
