Memoir
Friends! Classes! Teachers! Relationships! Drama! Stress! It all happens in middle school, from the time you first step on the campus's grounds to the day of your graduation.
The events that take place at HMS are simply indescribable and unforgettable. The friendships that are made last forever. The classes you take are...let's just say interesting. The teachers you meet are extremely different from one another. (Trust me, I've had super nice teachers, understandable teachers, monotone teachers, bipolar teachers...it doesn't get anymore diverse than this.) Relationships begin to spark. Tears, victories, and a lost of "first time"-ers occur. On top of it all, you learn how to manage your time and deal with stress.
I still remember the time when I got gum stuck on my (left) shoe during P.E. on the first day of school. Or the time when I bombed that first math test of the quarter. Or that time when my friend and I had a big fight involving the silent treatment. Middle School isn't all about the good times, you know.
But when there are good times, they're remembered through high school. Like the time when my friends and I started doing flips on the pull up bars for the first time, or when I did my first pull-up. Or when I was chosen for the Good Citizship Breakfast and won the Science award at the end of the year.
But the truth is, the things that happen at HMS are too extravagant to be summarized into one memoir. So I assure you, I'll be back soon.
