Welcome to our Classes/Homework page. This is where you will find information about our classes, including announcements and homework updates.If you would like to get a head start on putting together your supplies, please take note of the supplies list shown below. These are the supplies that will be needed each day in English and Social Studies.2016-2017 School Supplies List
- one organized 2-3 inch 3-ring binder (avoid large “trapper keepers”) with at least six dividers and inside inserts/pockets for homework (if the binder has no pockets, please have an organized system for quick homework storage and retrieval, such as dedicated homework folders)
- transparent sheet protectors
- pencil case
- headphones (earbuds work best)
- college ruled filler paper (8.5” x 11”)
- one composition book with at least 100 pages, college ruled
- red ballpoint pens
- highlighters – blue, yellow, green, pink
- #2 wooden pencils (no mechanical pencils)
- Expo Low Odor Dry Erase Fine Point markers in black or blue (2)
- self-contained hand-held pencil sharpener
- 3-5 ultra fine point black sharpies
- glue sticks (2)
- scissors
- Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) book
Please keep needed daily supplies in the pencil case and binder. Extra supplies can be kept at home or in your locker for project use and replenishing as needed.
The following optional supplies for classroom use would be greatly appreciated if you are able to help:

- Spirit Day! If possible, 6th graders are asked to wear black shirts. Sunscreen would be a good idea.
- Special Schedule - students will stay with their Homeroom groups all day. Each 6th grade Homeroom will be grouped with a 7th and 8th grade Homeroom, and we will move around to the different activities together.
- Minimum Day - 12:30 dismissal
- Lunch will be provided.

- Yearbooks will be distributed, and students will attend a special assembly in the auditorium. There will also be a short 6th grade assembly outside on the bleachers, then yearbook signing and goodbyes!

- There will be a regular school schedule on Tuesday where students will go to all 6 periods. It will be the last day I see my Period 3/4 students, so we'll be doing some wrap-up and reflection activities. It was a great year!
- Students will be cleaning out their lockers. They should bring a sturdy handled bag to hold all their belongings. They will also be bringing home their English/Social Studies portfolios, so they will have a lot to carry (parents may want to make accommodations if their student walks or bikes home).
- ASB elections will take place (speeches during Periods 1 & 2 and voting during Period 3).
- In order to participate in Spirit Day, all Library books must be returned and fines paid by this date.
- A "Suggestions for Summer" letter will be sent home with students. I'm asking for a parent signature on the bottom just so I know parents receive it!
