Happy First Day of School! 🦊

Welcome to HMS!  What a great start we've had!  Although you were an attentive listener, you may feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information given to you today.  Please be reassured that teachers will review procedures repeatedly over the next few weeks.  I encourage you to ask questions and seek help when needed.  My goal is for all students to feel safe and comfortable in their new learning environment.  I am already impressed with my new students, and I know it will be a rewarding, fun, and successful year for all!

The most common question from students today was, "What do I bring to class?"  Students, each and every day, please bring the following:

1.  white "English and Social Studies" binder (given to you today in class)
2.  Chromebook (fully charged)
3.  Binder Reminder (given to you today in Homeroom)
4.  pencil bag/box with supplies

Please leave other items in your locker or at home.  Starting on Monday, backpacks will not be allowed in the classroom per school policy.  However, students have the option to bring a small drawstring sport/gym bag to the classroom.
