Welcome to the Intramural Volleyball page.
The Huntington Middle School Intramural Volleyball Program provides an organized sport for any student who wishes to participate and learn the game of volleyball. It is the goal of the program to teach the students the fundamental skills of passing, serving, setting, and hitting. Students are also introduced to games where they can apply these newly learned skills, as well as learn the rules of volleyball. The interaction during games and practices also allows students to develop teamwork, leadership, communication, and sportsmanship.
Participation does not require superior skill levels or prior knowledge of volleyball; there is a place for everyone from the novice student athlete all the way up to the advanced competitor. The HMS Intramural Volleyball Program offers a fun, yet introductory competitive environment for all grade levels at Huntington Middle School.
