English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The Huntington Middle School English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a committee of parents, staff, and community members designated to advise the school English Learner program services of HMS.

The state of California requires each school with 21 or more English learners to form an ELAC. The ELAC advises the principal and staff on programs and services for English learners and the School Site Council (SSC) on the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
