the California modified assessment or CMA it's designed to give additional accessibility to California content standard to students with disabilities in grades seven through 11  students take CMA in lieu of the csts or Kappa the CMA consists of multiple choice test in ela and math and for students in grade 8 and 10 science  students in grades seven who take the CMA for English language arts will take the CMA for writing test name for writing test will be administered at the same time as the CST for writing tact  remember students enrolled in grade 7 may take either the grade level how many math test or the CMA for Algebra 1  students enrolled in grade eight may take even a CMA for Algebra 1 the CMA for geometry or the CST for General mathematics with the appropriate accommodations or modifications CMA test have not been developed for history so science all students in grades 8 through 11 are required to take the Great 8 or 11:00 CST for history-social Science and or the end of course world history recourse with the appropriate accommodations or modifications  who takes the CMA eligible students in grades 7 through 11 who have the CIA specified for one or more subjects in their IEP coordinator for further details about CMA eligibility since the grade 7 answer document did CST ncma train examiners that they will need to make sure students are marking answers in the correct part of the answer document and that they Mark the CMA test Bach 7c on the front of the answer document  after testing Mark any accommodations used by the student remember no additional modifications is are available on the CMA since most have been built into the test
