Welcome to Mr. Ku's webpage. Here are some brief information about Mr. Ku.
- Brief Introduction: Mr. Ku was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to SoCal at the age of 11 and I speak and write fluent Mandarin and a little Taiwanese. I graduated from Cerritos High School and UC Riverside afterwards. Outside of school, I love watching basketball and baseball (huge Lakers and Angels fan!), playing guitar, drums, and spending time with my little girl, Genevieve. I also love visiting different countries and learning about their cultures.
- Educational/Teaching Background: I received my BS in Pure Mathematics from UC Riverside and Secondary Credential from CSU Fullerton. I also received my first Masters in Curriculum and Instructions and second Masters in Educational Leadership/Administrative Credential both from CSU Long Beach. My first formal teaching started at John Muir High School in Pasadena for two years. Then, I taught at Renee and Meyer Luskin High School in South LA for four years and this year will be my 6th year at HMS!
