Parents' Corner: Things I Can Control
With all the big changes happening in the world (online schooling, masks, social distancing), our children may feel like they completely lost control of their lives.
And it's important to remember that BIG changes and even new experiences might feel confusing and scary to children.
That's why it's important that we do our best to create structure and stability AND remind our kids about all the things that they still have the power over.
Use this PRINTABLE poster "Things I CAN Control" to remind your children (and yourself!) of all the things they ARE in charge of...especially when things feel out of control.
It’s also a good reminder for kids to let go and enjoy themselves, even if things didn’t go the way they wanted.
