Please note the following district registration requirements. These are necessary before the student can start classes.

  1. Obtain a registration packet from the district office. The registration forms must be completely filled out before making an appointment to register.

  1. Registration is processed by appointment only. Please make an appointment with the Registrar at 626) 299-7015 or 626) 299-7000, Ext. 321. *Registration will begin approximately the third week in April and will be ongoing throughout the summer. There is no cutoff date.

  1. THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.


  • Current Property Tax Bill or current Lease Agreement or closing escrow statement AND 3 current utility bills are required for proof of residency in the San Marino Unified School District.

  • Birth Certificate and or Passport for certification of birth date.

  • Social Security number – if applicable.

  • Complete and up-to-date Immunization Record signed by a physician. All the immunizations required by the State of California are listed in the registration packet. Our district enforces the “No Shot –No School” policy.

  • California requires a Mantoux Tuberculosis Skin Test for all students entering school in California for the FIRST time. This test must be given and verified in writing by a physician. The form for this requirement is supplied.

  • An official transcript or report card and standardized test reports from the student’s previous school.

* ATTENDANCE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED UNTIL ALL THE REQUIRMENTS ARE MET.
